A waitlist widget you can embed on your website
A waitlist lets you collect emails before your product is ready, so you launch to people who already asked to hear about it. EarlyTrap gives you a signup form you add with one script tag, keeps every subscriber in a dashboard, and lets you email your list when you are ready.
How it works
- Create a project and add a form: choose Widget in the dashboard and click Add New Form.
- Style it in Config: placeholder text, button text and colors.
- Copy the embed snippet and paste it into a page that runs custom HTML or scripts.
Step-by-step guides:
- Add a waitlist form to Webflow
- Add a waitlist form to WordPress
- Add a waitlist form to Squarespace
- Add a waitlist form to Next.js
What you get
- A signup form you can match to your site: colors, placeholder and button text.
- One snippet to embed. Changes you make in Config apply to forms that are already live.
- Bot detection, rate limiting and spam protection to keep fake signups out.
- Duplicate prevention, so the same email is not stored twice.
- A dashboard with every subscriber and a chart of your subscribers over time.
- Broadcasts, so you can email your whole list from the same place.
Good to know
- The form only saves emails on pages served from your project's Website URL (Origin). Enter your site's address there: domain only, no page path, starting with
https://www.(for examplehttps://www.yoursite.com). - Only one EarlyTrap form works on each page.
- EarlyTrap keeps things simple: an email form, a dashboard and broadcasts. It does not run referral rewards or queue positions.
